Post Office in Gray Street/Queen Street
I have been made aware of some disappointing news that the post office in Gray Street/Queen Street has closed for the time being.
I am afraid details are scant as there are issues of business confidentiality.
This is clearly a worrying development, with so many folk in the Ferry relying on the post office for a full range of services.
That is why I have written to Post Office Ltd. direct seeking assurances that they are working hard to restore a full-time service to the centre of the Ferry.
I remember the relief in the Ferry when this opened as, after the old post office closed, there were concerns the service would be lost to the centre of the Ferry entirely.
That did not transpire and the current branch is a fixture in the centre of the Ferry and hopefully these present issues can be resolved and it gets trading again
