FAIR FUEL

My SNP colleagues and I are telling George Osborne that, now is not time for a fuel duty rise. I am calling for a freeze on fuel duty, as it would be completely wrong of George Osborne to try and hide and sneak a rise just because the retail price happens to be lower.

If the Treasury’s tax revenues are down because of the economic situation, it would be completely wrong to expect hard-pressed workers to pay more to make up for the Chancellor’s mistakes.
