On Sunday I attended and spoke at the Rohingya rally in Dundee City Centre. I am deeply concerned about the situation in Rakhine Province, and the plight of the Rohingya people and others caught up in this violence. It is vital that the UK is actively involved in securing a solution, both in terms of the provision of aid, and exerting influence on the government of Burma. Scotland stands ready to support the UK Government in providing an appropriate response to this situation
